Repairative Architectures is a research, teaching, and public engagement platform that brings together collaborative work produced across universities, community organisations, public institutions, and design practice. It creates a shared space where staff research, student work, commissioned projects, and long-term partnerships contribute to the production of architectural knowledge.

Working across South Africa and the United Kingdom, Repairative Architectures is informed by Southern urbanist thought and practice. Through design studios, research projects, workshops, exhibitions, publications, mapping, and collaborative fieldwork, the platform brings together student work, academic research, and partnerships with civic and community organisations. Together, these projects explore how architecture can contribute to more just, caring, and ecologically attentive urban futures.
